The first time Andrew Nugent-Head has formally taught his approach to the pulse in the clinic. How what we feel shapes the strategy and intensity of treatment.
The pulse tells us the quality of a patient’s Qi and Blood — and, from that, how far we can go with treatment.
Much of what is taught about the pulse is a matter of recognising and naming qualities. Drawing on the clinical traditions passed to him by his teachers, in this seminar Andrew will show us how the pulse is read, what it reveals about the patient’s state, and how it should change the strength and direction of our needling in the treatment.
The two weekends The seminar runs over two weekend modules, and places are for both modules.
Who can attend?
Qualified acupuncturists or third year students on a BAAB accredited course.
